  • Editorial Policy
    All submitted manuscripts undergo initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief or Editor. Submissions deemed suitable will proceed through a rigorous double-blind peer review conducted by independent experts. Manuscripts must demonstrate originality, relevance, and a clear contribution to advancing understanding or practice in business, management, and strategy, particularly within African or emerging market contexts.

    Plagiarism Policy
    The Wits Business Review maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism. All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Any submission found to contain unethical copying or unattributed content will be rejected immediately. Post-publication discoveries of plagiarism will result in retraction and notification to the author’s institution.

    Open Access Policy
    WBR is an open access journal committed to the free dissemination of knowledge. All content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright of their work and anyone may read, download, copy, distribute, print, or link to the full texts without prior permission, provided proper attribution is given.

    Publication Ethics
    The WBR follows COPE guidelines and maintains a strict stance against plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical publishing. All manuscripts are checked with plagiarism detection software. Authors are accountable for the integrity of their work, including any contributions made using AI tools.
